Homeless Ministry in Harrisburg Pennsylvania, Isaiah 61 Ministries’ mission is to be God’s hands and feet in this world by showing His love through our actions. We want everyone that we serve to know God loves them and cares for all of their needs.

We provide meals to the homeless Tuesday and Wednesday evenings behind the courthouse in Harrisburg PA.  Additionally, we provide toiletries, clothing, new shoes, quality of life items, and will help purchase medications with a valid script. Besides providing for physical needs we believe the most important things we share with those we serve are the friendships formed, advocacy, and spiritual support.

For those needing spiritual support we are always here to pray for you.  We are supported by many pastors and always seek sound biblical guidance for ourselves and our friends on the streets. Most service days, a pastor is on our mission team.  On sundays, we pick up anyone that wants to attend church. Our pickup site is the Capital Area Transit Transfer Center in downtown Harrisburg.  Just look for the Big Gray Van at 9:30am.

Our homeless ministry is always accepting donations of Bibles, blankets, new shoes, toiletries, socks, t-shirts, underwear, flashlights and batteries.  For service opportunities please visit our contact us page and we will contact you with further information.
